Proud new owner of a 1978ish Olmo Super Gentleman

Good from Sicily,
Although I am still in the “honeymoon stage” it appears that I also have fallen victim to the “love at first sight” case and have purchased a beautiful bike two sizes too small. My Bianchi C2C is a 56 with a 74 saddle height. The new classic lady is regretfully a 52.

For now however I will enjoy the all original, candy apple red paint, Columbus steel , and complete Campy Grand Sport group right down to the peddles with “OLMO” leather straps.

Although I am still in love with my 2009 “VOLVO Team” edition CF Bianchi C2C, the engraved crank-set, stem, seat post and the way the tubes elegantly change shape as they progress from oval to round was a whole new level.

I know that I need to start looking for a bigger frame however after some research I need either a Gentleman or Competition frameset to maintain equivalent quality of what I currently have.
