For the forks, just about all Suntour branded forks can be considered disposable, for their budget forks, it's cheaper to replace then repair, for higher end, they generally aren't available of retail purchase in the UK, and if your did find one, spares availability is an issue compared to say Rockshox or Fox. Nothing wrong with Suntour forks, but you need to be aware of this, especially if you intend to take the bike anywhere where the wear on the parts / servicing will be hard to obtain.
Ok so would you advise buying it (or a similar one) and upgrading parts, including forks, over time? If not, what bike would you reccomend as a starting point within my price range? Does it really matter if I'm gona replace the parts anyway?

What are the key things I should look for to start off with? (I'm assuming frame, wheels, and forks???)
