RHM, I'm one of those "have to try it once" kind of guys, so I'll probably research saddle replacement, buy an over priced piece of leather and make an attempt to re-saddle my first saddle frame. I have recovered many saddles with thin leather, but using a thick piece of leather to form a new seat will be quite a challenge, I'm sure. If I get too frustrated or it turns out poorly, I'll send you the frame.
