And I find it curious as to why you think I'm trying to insult anyone. That would be based upon a suposition that I would derive some sort of benefit, which is a bit shallow of a thought process. It's not about insult, it's about creating an understanding. Perhaps Terry can climb quite well at 85. That's great. But it's also a disservice to suggest that's the only proper rate at which someone should climb. And to satisfy your need for proof. Check out Lance's climbing cadence. His trademark cadence is 110. Period.

I think Terry's statement is more related to sustained 110 cadence versus just being able to hit 110 rpm.
Also maybe Lance is the exception but anything above 90 rpm for me is too much spin for me on climbs. It's doable but hardly feels efficient for me.
