Rain per se is no biggie. It really depends on the temperature. In August, I pray for rain, and sometimes will cut across lawn is search of active sprinklers. But this time of year in NY, rain definitely is not my friend.

I'll put up with it, but rain at 40° or less is no fun. There's also the issue of rain and dark. Going home on a dark rainy night means limited visibility, glare and distortion. Last year I broadsided a truck on my way home because I though it was a shadow until about 2 seconds before impact.

BTW- one of the best ways to manage rain is to leave changes of clothing, both for work, and for the ride home at work.
