I'll put up with it, but rain at 40° or less is no fun. There's also the issue of rain and dark. Going home on a dark rainy night means limited visibility, glare and distortion. Last year I broadsided a truck on my way home because I though it was a shadow until about 2 seconds before impact.

BTW- one of the best ways to manage rain is to leave changes of clothing, both for work, and for the ride home at work.
