my rain gear keeps me totally dry for my commute of 35 mins. the only part of me that gets wet is my face and sometimes hands. I have a cheap pair of waterproof fishing gloves that work for about 20 mins before they start leaking. But they keep my hands comfortable in those cold rains. and the brown insulated cotton jersey gloves I wear fit inside them as a liner to provide extra warmth.
