People that own or have ridden Di2 setups and love them, and people that have never ridden a Di2 bike out of whatever principle/belief about electronics or batteries or whatever. Then there's a tiny minority that's ridden Di2 that either doesn't feel it's worth the price or aren't blown away by the performance...but they never find it worse than a mechanical setup.

I fall into the former group that owns a Di2 equipped bike, and I would never want to go back to mechanical. The latter group that doesn't have any direct experience with Di2...should probably not bother responding when people ask if a Di2 group is better or worse than the corresponding mechanical group. If the people starting these threads cared about not adding batteries/electronics to their bikes, they wouldn't be asking about Di2 in the first place.
