If the people starting these threads cared about not adding batteries/electronics to their bikes, they wouldn't be asking about Di2 in the first place.
Agree. I am running the Ui2 and will never go back to cable shift on my main bike. Shift when I want and every one is clean and crisp. programmed in a 2 per long push for the choppy hills I ride live and ride in. Auto trim of the front derailleur works very well. the entire drive train has worked 100% without error since it went on the bike.
