I actually prefer the compact crank 50/34 of the roubaix over the 52/36 of the R5. I really think it comes down to aesthetics for me tho. I like the looks of the cervelo better so I tend to want to ride it more? But for 50 or 60+ miles I grab the roubaix.

So to sum up, the R5 for my daily riding and the roubaix for the weekend rides (longer).
