That's why I wrote "shipping-wise." I.e., compared to other prices for shipping (rather than flying with a bike.) Just the year before (2009) we shipped two full size bikes, including mine large one in a large box (l+w+d=86.5") , UPS from Philly to Whitefish, MT for about $90 total. 2011, Philly to Missoula. UPS. $200 for 1 normal size bike box, my large bike box and a third box with a B.O.B. racks, fuel bottle and stove.
