i also have a Masi 3V frame needing TT/DT replacement. not as looking severe as yours, it got some whirls near the HT from a front collision. got quotation from a few places, the best one was from Fanklin Frames in OH. that 3V frame is with oversized tubing + internal lugs that most of the repairers taking an excuse for outrageous quote. Franklin said they've done it 'no big deal'. not finding a better quote and confidence, i will most likely send the frame to them.

nothing specific, just wanted to expand my knowledge around frame repair and resources.
I started out by calling Waterford; they've done a couple of bikes for me in the past with amazing results; I found out, however, that they wont replace tubes on bikes they didn't make. The person I spoke with was fantastic, and recommended a shop called The Yellow Jersey. http://yellowjersey.org/

The website is a little jacked up due to a server issue, but you can follow links and see what they can do with a 3V. There are some great pictures. I called and was quoted what I thought was a very reasonable price. I was told that metal work is 3 weeks out. Waterford said that the work this shop does is outstanding. As soon as the frame arrives, they'll call me and we'll discuss the process.

I was thinking of posting a seperate thead to document the process; this is going to be an amazing bike when it's done.
