As a first upgrade I was thinking wheel set, think this is wise? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I am now riding a 2009 kona zing (Craigslist special) and thought it was time to get a bit more serious so I decided to go Caad, I usually do long rides (40 miles) given the right weather conditions and I think I've made the right choice.
My last 2 bikes, I had the LBS keep the stock wheels and give me a discount instead. On my Scott Addict, they gave me 900$ for the stock kysrium SLs. On my CAAD, they gave me $200 for the stock shimano wheels.

If you don't mind full carbon clinchers and don't ride your brakes on long switchback type decents, check out 2013 Reynolds Assaults(46mm, 1490g) or Attacks(32mm, 1410g) on Nashbar.com and wait for a 20% off coupon which usually happens on weekends. I got my attacks from them when they had a one day 25% off coupon. Note that they ARE 11spd compatible so keep that in mind when shopping for deals on wheels.

I have both and here is what they look like on a 2013 10-5.

Assaults with stickers. This would look sick on your bike since the frame is very subtle, the wheels can be a bit busier:

P.S> I want a 2014 10-3 badly but should probably hold out for the CAAD11 or wait for the 2014's to go on sale next fall. I'm sick of SRAM force's long throw ratios and the colour is just plain badass.
