Hi guys.

I was wondering if I could quickly fix a problem. I have a rather long section of exposed bare CrMo that's starting to rust now with the winter. I was wondering if instead of painting it (which would necessitate days of drying) I could simply clean out the rust and apply standard vinyl electrical tape instead.

Looks aren't an issue. This bike is as punk as it gets already !

I guess my real question is : will the vinyl tape be able to prevent rust and protect the metal ?
