First ride of the season on studs, Ice spiker pro, great weather and a really nice ride partly singletrack and partly icy gravelroads. At the halfway stop I talked to a young guy ridng a full suspension electric bike. (this one:http://electricbikereport.com/emotio...n-bike-review/) Asked about battery capacity and he told me he carried a spare and had just swapped for the ride home. Just for fun I tried to keep up and on the flats I managed OK but on a long uphill he totally smoked me and disappeared. I hope to see a lot more of these in the coming years, great way for not so fit people to enjoy nature and become fitter.
