Thanks for the nice comments, guys. As to the question re drivetrain: Actually pretty standard MTB gearing with a few custom parts. The cassette is stock 10sp 11-36, while the regular double Shimano XT crank is fitted with a trick RaceFace 30T narrow/wide chainring and a granny 22T ring. No front derailleur; shifting is by hand (or foot in case of downshifting).
