I once wore a pair of cycling shorts whose padding was extra, extra thick. As I rode, I had a lot of itching and then pain. When I finished my ride, I took the shorts off and discovered that my scrotum had gotten pinched in a fold of the padding. The fold was there only because the padding was excessively thick. The pinch had chafed my scrotum very badly, making it painful and red. Not a likely occurrence, but ever since then, I've been sore at the manufacture. (Pun intended)
