Wash bibs/shorts after every ride! No questions asked!
Mainly for hygienic reasons, but if you ride with others, they will appreciate it.
Most shorts/bibs/chamois are made from synthetics, these hold on the odors far easier, & once there's an odor its there for life.
Time for new ones, wash them, it cheaper in the long run.


I find the think pads with fold less comfortable then thinner/flatter chamois too.
While I never experienced pain to that extent I do get what your saying.
