dunno about the BB ,but as for degreaser, on the cheap side a cleaner called Fantastik is what i use .with a toothbrush .seems to work good on stuff thats not caked on.then i rince and dry my parts.
any automotive type store will sell some kind of engine degreaser,(good for really caked on grease) but you gotta make sure its safe on aluminium parts.
again rince well.
