But I don't understand why they've gone away from celeste. Every bike they sell ought to be available in celeste- that's what made Bianchi special, IMO. Paint it any other color and it may as well be another brand entirely.
I think that its smart not to offer celeste as an option for their lower end bikes. (not trying to say that that pista is a bad bike, just inexpensive) By only offering the color on more expensive models, they are distinguishing the exclusivity of a top end, race worthy bianchi.
It may only be a marketing ploy, but judging from the reaction shown here, it seems to be working.
