Hey Gambler- Thanks for the response. I'm not too worried about the single speed as it's totally flat in our neighborhood, which is the only place that we will be riding. I also just checked out that Civia and that is one sweet bike. It's way better looking than the Charge IMHO. I'm just not sure that I'm ready to drop $795 on something that I'm not sure that she'll even use.
