The drive- engagement issue is pretty common with these. I've only used #2 grease on my hub so far; the greased ball bearings/oil elesewhere approach performs well, but doesn't last well. I think even light grease will gum up the rollers, TBH. I'm thinking that convenient, frequent reapplication of oil will help me out in regards to time between complete overhauls. some folks just squirt oil in at the driver, but that sounds extra messy, to me.
