Ditto on the Performance Bike cheapo-ish interchangeable-lens ones. Get ones with clear/amber/grey, and if you don't like the amber, don't use it. Best if you have a Performance Bike near you and can try them on, so that you know whether or not they slide down your nose. (They don't, on me.)
Before that, it was $5 hardware store safety goggles at night and my all-sport wraparound sunglasses by day. The wraparounds now live with my canoeing/hiking stuff.
Since you're a boater (or at least a fisher) -- you may or may not like polarized lenses on the water, and you may or may not like them riding, and those two answers may differ. Most of the cheap cycling ones aren't polarized, which can be a surprise if you're used to polarized.
