I think that's a great picture. It's good to try and be technically good all the time because you never know when you need to be technically good. In that picture if the guy on the hoods (Van der Poel) was on the drops his bike would have been an inch or two further forward.
Taylor Phinney didn't get a bronze for himself at Worlds because he didn't throw his bike forward, he basically threw his body up. Because of that he had to share the bronze with a guy that threw his bike properly.
