This is the "basket case" Schwinn Spitfire 5 from the previous post where I got all of the bike mechanic's tools. This bike was 100% disassembled and in cardboard boxes (hence no picture when I acquired it). Fortunately, 99.9% of the bike was there.
Cleaned, regreased, and readjusted everything. New brake cables. New Positron II cable (Positron II actually works pretty well!). New reproduction waterslide decals and tires.
Nice, looks like it's in great shape, I just sold mine in a large lot of Schwinns on CL and out of everything I got rid of I sure do wish I was able to keep my Spitfire 5. Also since I got rid of it a few have shown up here on BF and when I had mine there were little to be found around these parts.
