I may be totally off base here, but I'm thinking that as I ride the chamois sort of moves itself into place. I'm with everyone else that is saying you should definitely put some miles in. I've probably got shorts/bibs from about 5 or 6 brands as I'm still trying to find what works best for me. I think that my most comfortable pair are made by Louis Garneau, but that's just me. I'm a bigger guy at 211 lbs, but what works for me may not work for you. I'd say that they may settle into place once you get to riding.
