Nice park, library, trails, etc… You can walk/bike to the grocery stores and pubs in the older areas, here.
And they have plans to expand the trails along Cypress and Spring creek systems.

Alternately, if you have no need to commute…
Move to austin, leave your car in houston.
Trails, parks, connectivity everywhere and growing.
Just don't contribute to our auto traffic problem...
