I am nervous to leave them on a bike and use a cable lock, as it wouldn't take much fudging to get it off. However, I would then be carrying both in each hand, and I would like to have one free.

I found this, http://www.biketiresdirect.com/produ...m-for-panniers

I assume this would only carry one pannier. Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Thanks!

I found (for me) that the easiest and cost effective solution was to have a rack with a basket a couple of bungie cords and a backpack / messenger bag...
