^ I followed the Park Tools website instruction, which is opposite of yours. But I always thought it was more intuitive to do it your way. Next wrap job I will do it right=clockwise, left=counterclockwise.

But I don't follow you on the holes over solid....I think that's what I did. And the results would be the same either way.
