It's not a copy of the Planet Bike Superflash. Planet Bike just did the same as Portland "Design" Works: Calling it their own even when it isn't.
The dual light also comes in a headlight, where the lower is a reflector, and the upper, the actual light:
If you do a search on "Smart RL321" (perhaps without the """), you should be able to find the tail light, even on Amazon.com.
Also try searching for "Smart Bike". It may be more widespread in Europe, but Portland "Design" Works are being untruthful when they claim it is theirs, and so is Planet Bike with the
Smart Superflash.

It is telling that the Portland Design Works still carries the "Smart" name, so I seriously doubt this is just a question of different distributors. It may very well be that PDW is the distributor of Smart lights, but since they still carry the "Smart" name over there, it seems they are at most the distributor of Smart lights, if you know what I mean.
