The Cheapskate French Weenie X-mas Holiday Jamboree continues at my house today when these came in this afternoon....
I wasn't expecting these to come in till after the new year, but the mailman really made my day with them when he dropped them off today....
NOS Christophe model 496C aluminum toe clips to go with my Stronglight PR300 pedals...
I snagged them cheap at eBay just before Z-mas for just a bit over 7 bucks plus shipping! I guess maybe nobody else noticed them....
Proves to show that with just some good looking around, we can still stick our tongues out
at the usual eBay "hyper pricers" that would not sell the toe clips for less than 50-60 bucks a set. I've even seen them sometimes ask for almost 100 bucks for them.... so I'm feeling really good with these...
