The extended the Fred Expressway here (the MUP) by another 1.5 miles on the Monroe end. So that's nice. Crushed stone now, it's rideable, they'll pave it in the Spring. So that makes it, um, let's see, carry the one, I think it's like 12.5-13 miles from end to end. Not too bad.

People give me **** about riding on the MUP, but frankly, it's the only flat riding that's somewhat wind sheltered in all of the OC, which is unrelenting ball busting upgrades and Satan's wind tunnel for 6+ months a year. At least the cager factor is low here. Not so many cars.

I ride 8-10K miles a year, maybe 1500 miles of that is on the MUP. 80% of my mileage is on the road.
