they suggested inserting a piece of sandpaper between the round piece and the where it connects to the post.. I'm skeptical because in theory with 2 screws tightened its hard to imagine that piece pivoting..

im not looking forward to tearing down my bike to build this one up and test it… but i guess i will soon
