I'm looking for a recommendation for a pair of padded shorts/base layer/underwear or something else to ease my body back into this and I'm not looking to spend a fortune. I'd like to avoid completely replacing my seat as I find it fairly comfortable and ergonomically pleasing, but want to ride almost daily rather than every third or fourth to keep my hind quarters in check.

Thanks for any advice!

PS, If my name didn't give it away, I'm male, if that helps at all.
Unless you have a generic butt then that generic seat on your bike will have to go!!
