Depending on your frame's BB height (above ground) you can run into issues with pedal strike if you corner aggressively.
While in a lefthand curve in a paceline once I was passed on my left by a quill pedal cap spinning down the road. Didn't realize it was mine until the century ride was over and I went to put my bike in the back of my pickup. And I only have 175s.
