I went out in the car this morning to get some business done in another town. It was over 40*F when I left the house and I was commenting (complaining) to the wife that the highway dept. had put down even more salt on the road. As we got further down the road, anywhere there was a shadow, the road was frosty and icy. We wiggled and slid around a bit, even when trying to be conservative. Then I thought about how dangerous it would be on the bike.

A little further along and there were flares in the road; some guy had spun out in his pickup truck and crashed.

Sometimes you just can't ride on the road!

Anyway, I rode 17 miles on the rollers.

MTD: 48 miles
