evidence-based discussion. There is definitely some evidence that carrion consumption played a role in early hominid evolution. Moreover, hominids also ate significant amounts of insects and scat. I prefer legumes, nuts, seeds, fruit, and veggies to carrion, poop, and grubs.

I'm referring to later periods of evolution and meat was (IMHO, still is) king.
