Does anyone know if CAAD 8 really is a different grade of aluminum? Cause I believe the CAAD 10 is still 6069 series aluminum, which considering it's price tag is really surprising and unimpressive. I'd expect it to be 7000 grade. 7000 done right is stronger and lighter than 6000. This has been confusing me for a few weeks now as I've been comparing CAAD 10 to the Selene frameset.
If not, then I should probably look at CAAD 8.
I use to have a 2013 CAAD8, sold it and purchased a 2014 CAAD10. Night and day difference, yes the CAAD10 is more aggressive but its also much smoother, stiffer, and less twitchy. The CAAD8 isn't a bad bike, the CAAD10 is just better
