Interesting. I figured the Kool Stop labels on the pad holders should face up, and that the flared-out portion of the pads should face forward, kind of like built-in toe-in. With that said, though, the arrows on the back of the pads point towards the rear of the bike, so that is puzzling.

I can switch the holders side to side, but that is not how they came to me (brand new). Maybe they got assembled on a Monday, or by a dyslectic!
