Crank - not BB-related problem which really makes me a little bit angry. Blardy FSA SL-K Light Non-Drive-Side crankarm pedal retaining nut has come loose. Took it to the LBS - already knowing the answer (as a couple of mates have had the same issue and a quick internet search brought up a number of similar failures) and he confirmed it will require a new crankarm - non-repairable fault. I've emailed FSA to see what their response is, but I'm not hanging my hat on a positive outcome.
LBS gave me a Wheels Mfg BB-adapter, which was a simple plug-n-play fit and I put my DA7800 crankset on for the crit today. The DA crankset is lighter, works well and shifts MUCH better than the FSA rings to boot. I think I'll be leaving it on there from hereon in.
