I'm glad to see you have it sorted out

I just want to remind you that the correct chain tension is NO tension.

Rotate the cranks feeling hat you still have some slack in the lower loop. It varies because cranks are slightly eccentric, and you want enough slack that the lower loop sags bout 1/4" in the center (free to move up and down 1/2").

If here's ever a point where the chain is actually tight, loosen the wheel and move it forward a bit.
