No, Ethan, I do not know much about it... But, increasingly professions such as exercise physiology are requiring advanced degrees such as masters and even doctorates. In fact, I have heard that even physical therapists are expected to graduate with PhD's at this point.

So, your choice of undergrad schools may be less important than you think since its main purpose may be to get you into grad school rather than a job. (So, you may want to pay as much attention to cost as reputation).

But, to learn more about it, some of the hospitals employ exercise physiologists. I know when I went to the sports medicine clinic at UPMC in Pittsburgh they employed exercise physiologists. Perhaps you could find a way to contact one of them and they could provide some insight for you? Also, the Cleveland Clinic employs them as part of their preventive cardiology staff. Dr Gordon Blackburn is one of them. If you query his name at the Cleveland Clinic they will provide contact info for him...
