I supported my LBS today. Went in to have them take a look at the bike and have them install a stem riser adapter so I could get the bars above my knees. After they got into it, they realized that I didn't need the adapter. The stem on the bike is extendable. They raised the stem a full 4 inches. Now I have plenty of room between the bars and my knees.

So, if you're having problems with the height or reach of your bars. Extend the stem. Also, if you look close at the second picture you can see the gap between the seat and the frame top tube after installing the wedge.
I also received the new Kool-stop brake pads. I haven't tried them out yet.

Bob, took a look at my stem after seeing your post and it was set up 4 inchs as well. Hadn't really noticed it before, but it works good for me as well at this height. Sorry about the orientation. Still can't figure out why this is happening.
