I work for a private university as a stage manager doing staging and performance lighting.

Do you dispense your duties exclusively for the school or do you assist with outside parties that use the Mabee Center- like the Muppets and Globetrotters?

Back on topic: Currently a stay at home dad. Got laid off (they termed it that, but they never had any intention of recalling anyone) almost 2 years ago. When I was working, I had a convoluted, time consuming, multi-modal commute- up to 4 hours a day to cover roughly ~50 miles, five days a week. Towards the end of my tenure, it was a toss up on whether I spent more time on the commute or on the clock...

Edit: HS w/some college credit.
