[h=2]Super RARE 1982 Peugeot PH 12 Centennial Edition - $475 (Raleigh)[/h]
This is a very rare Peugeot carbolite 103 steel tube special. Very few were made in 1982 for their centennial celebration. Frames alone are going on eBay for $550.
Frame size is 57cm may run small cause I can't tell a difference from my daily 54cm Schwinn. Feels really good for me and I'm 5'11.
The paint isn't to terrible but if you really wanted it to be worth it's full value you could repaint and replace the worn decals for it to look brand new. Decal kits go for $46 dollars on eBay.
A couple things that are very rare and unusual for the production year...
Aero frame tubing and stays.
And Internal cable routing.
The frame and original components are made in France.
Everything on the bike is original except for the rear Shimano Eagle derailleur, the brake levers, saddle, tires an bar tape.
It is equipped with the very rare orional CLB rim brakes (front and rear).
Original Peugeot front derailleur (made in France)
Original bottom bracket (axle is actually stamped with Peugeot made in France see photos for more detail).
Original pedals.
Original Custom Crank.
Original shifters.
Original cassette.
Original Peugeot handle bar plugs.
Original wheels (made in France).
Dia-comp brake levers.
Everything is in beautiful shape.
I replaced the old dry rotted tires with blue and black vittorias.
New tubes
New chain
New cables and housing
New orange bar tape
Bicycle is ready to ride if you are purchasing to cruise around town on. Everything has been professionally tuned, lubed, and adjusted. Wheels have been trued. Headset and bottom bracket has been overhauled (new ball bearings and grease). This bike is a true beauty for those who want a slick ride or just wanting to collect.
