never mind i think i found the answer from a youtube video. guy was changing his old crank and i seen it had 9 bb's in the bearing case.

seen some on amazon for a few bucks. one of the reviews mentioned the size and it matches up to my crank tube. I'm taking a shot for a few bucks. beats paying to shops and hassle of taking the bike there.
