It's painful to watch cause it's so slow!!! Whole time I'm watching extreme unicycle is, RIDE FASTER! Too slow!
Unicycle 400M in 58 seconds and super tired. WTF?!?!? I ran 400m in 50 seconds in high school.... Give me a break! Too slow! And I know 50+ men who still race can run 400M in 50 seconds.

Anyway, welcome to riding fast. Enjoy your Giant Defy 1, that looks super fast. And do post back if you manage to break your deraileur without crashing... At least my Shimano 105 is rock solid, don't see how cross chaining could break it. Just get a new chain off eBay for $20 every 1500 miles.
Can you even ride a unicycle? I can drive 100 miles in an hour and a half. On a bike it would take more than twice that (or longer). Give me a break! Too slow! I know 80 year old women who still drive 80 mph on the freeway!
Mountain unicycling is about doing something because it's hard. It's not for everyone (obviously it's not for you), because people don't want to put in the time to actually be proficient. It's also not about being fast, but if it matters to you, I've passed plenty of bikes going uphill.
I can hold my own against almost every mountain bike I've come across (I've come across a few superhumans that I just don't have the stamina to compete with).
My balls don't hurt, and neither do my arms because I don't wave them around.
Don't beat up my sport because it doesn't fit your requirements for excitement.
Thanks to everyone else for your comments. Very much appreciated!
