Breaking Away is very good, but your grandchildren are unlikely to understand post-high school angst.

Premium Rush isn't a very good movie, but has some interesting riding stunts in it. The boys may enjoy its primitive script and dialogue. The pre-cognition riding path effect is cool the first time. It wearies after the 75th time...

American Flyers is one that they can probably understand and appreciate, although I find Kevin Costner annoying in all movies but one (can you guess which?).

+100 on the Bicycle Thief; an excellent film. PG
