I live west of 400 so I would take azalea up to hwy 9 and take a right, cross over the bridge then immediately take a left onto Roberts drive. AFter that I cut through the Chattahooche national reserve (i think it's called) then left into Roberts Dr. again, via Northridge Dr., and right onto Spalding. However, Spalding is exactly what I am trying to avoid. There is no shoulder lane, it is only a two lane road which leaves no room for me when it is packed and parked @ 5:30pm. My other option would be take Roberts Dr. all the way to Dunwoody Village and then right on Mt Vernon but the same thing happens once I get to Mt. Vernon Hwy.
Atlanta is a little of a toughie when it comes to traffic and alternate routes. I wish I had the testies to just ride down 400
