Ten dark, cold miles on the Minuteman tonight, temperatures in the low teens down to 10degF at Arlington's Great Meadow. A high cieling presaged tomorrow's promised snow showers. Lots more bare pavement tonight, but also more black ice than I've seen in several days. Quiet and peaceful, with a paradoxical hint of the Night Chorus: crickets on anti-freeze?
