hit a pothole in the dark just two nights ago, over the bars and skidding on the chin. luckily I have a beard. guess if I plan on riding the one long dark ass street in ny (the one way below the BBQ and brooklyn heights) I should invest in a light... before that was spring time, some non drunk ****** in a minivan crushed me into a parked car as he swerved into the empty space ahead. Had a couple years without anything major before that.

Loads of close calls though, worst was trying to cut inbetween two pedestrians only to realize they where carrying an eight foot 2x4 on their shoulders! Nothing to do but duck, and somehow I found myself alive on the other side...
